Hi all,

We just got an email from our printer that our pallets of Alien Bestiary 5E have begun their voyage to us! They were confirmed on board their ship departing on April 23 and are scheduled to arrive at the Port of Long Beach, CA on May 9. Usually our shipments arrive at the Port of Seattle or Port of Tacoma near us, but oceanic shipping is what it is, so to Long Beach it shall go and then trucking up to us, with books scheduled to arrive on or around May 24 (about 2-3 weeks earlier than expected)! Once they arrive, it'll take a few days to get things unpacked and organized but then we'll be ready to start shipping packages to you!

Amusingly, that arrival date is precisely one day after our brand-new Kickstarter project ends: A Tale of Two Seas! Our marvelous Mediterranean Monsters bestiary is now available for Pathfinder 1E and Pathfinder 2E, in addition to the original 5E version, and we have incredible bundle offers for awesome aquatic adventure from the Mediterranean to the Caribbean and beyond, including deluxe hardcover options, new VTT modules, and more! 

We love and appreciate the support you had for Mechanical Monsters in 2023 and whether you're a 5E fan or Pathfinder player we hope you will check out all the new offers we've got for you!

Our printer has sent over 6 copies of the awesome Alien Bestiary 5E and they look fabulous! As always, we are pulling the names of six lucky backers to receive these early bird copies of the book. The random number generator has spoken, and it says that backers Moss, Schreur, Pierce, Liessner, Baas, & Rigney will have something special in their mailboxes very soon!Your labels are printed, and we'll drop off your books at the post office tomorrow! 

Our big shipment of the rest of the books is currently scheduled to arrive in port on June 3rd, and after probably a week or two in customs clearance they'll be trucked to us here at LG HQ and we can start sending them out to all of you! 

We appreciate your patience with getting this book up and out the door. Having to redo the entire book was not something I had planned when we added it to our Kickstarter project, but here we are and the book is going to be a terrific addition to your campaign.

As we finally get to close the book on this project, we have a new one ready to launch soon... though a little later than planned. We are pushing back the start of our A Tale of Two Seas Kickstarter for D&D 5E, Pathfinder 1E, and Pathfinder 2E by a week to April 23! It's tax time in the USA and we've just been buried in paperwork which has slowed down some things, on top of our layout artist going on a family trip. We've just sent over the final Word doc for Mediterranean Monsters for Pathfinder Second Edition and will be assembling the Pathfinder RPG version as soon as our tax filing is complete! We hope you'll sign on to check out this new project and we hope you love it!

Hi all,

After an arduous journey of reconstruction and many cycles of proofing and review, we are pleased to let you know that the Alien Bestiary 5E is at long last on the presses and printing! Here are the dates for your reference for getting this book on its way to us:

• 6 advance copies sent to us: 2024-04-08
• Final confirmation to ship: 2024-04-12
• RTS (Ready to Ship) date: 2024-04-16
• ETD HK (Estimated Time of Departure, Hong Kong): 2024-04-22
• ETA WA98023 (Estimated Time of Arrival to Legendary Games): approx. 2024-06-03

There's always the potential of a port delay with customs clearance, but that's only happened to us once so far, so fingers crossed that all goes smoothly! When the 6 advance copies arrive, we'll randomly select 6 backers to receive those books and ship them out. The remainder of orders that include the Alien Bestiary 5E will ship in their entirety once those books arrive. All orders that don't include the Alien Bestiary have shipped already (well, the last of those batches is downstairs right now waiting to go to the post office), unless you are one of the handful of folks who didn't fill out their survey - we can't send your books unless you get us your information! Hi all,

We got our big shipment in last Thursday including Mechanical Monsters as well as other books and cards, and after organizing this weekend we've sent out the first wave of shipments - sending out bundles of both Mechanical Monsters and Mediterranean Monsters for backers who happened to get both of them! We're plowing through our shipping supplies and restocking padded envelopes and mailers as we go, and we'll have more books on their way to you soon! 

In addition, we're very pleased to report that our printer has notified us that they are sending the "page plotters" and digital proofs for Alien Bestiary 5E. This is a loose-leaf printout of the entire book to do a final visual check, plus 16 pages of high-gloss pages for checking color. Those are on their way to me by FedEx, and once I approve those (and they make any last-minute corrections), the books will be ready to print at last! It's been quite an odyssey with the Alien Bestiary, something I thought would be a quick-and-easy reprint of the original book and turned out to be anything but. That said, it's great to have the rebuilt book on final approach at last and I hope you love it when it arrives!
