Thanks to all of you for your amazing support of Mechanical Monsters! We are looking forward to a fabulous final week! We are excited to announce that our friends at Shard 5E VTT are now working on Mechanical Monsters and the Alien Bestiary for 5E! When this product launched, we weren't sure what the future held for VTTs so we were restrained in what we wanted to offer, but as things have cleared up a great deal in the last week we are excited to offer a wide variety of options for online and remote play with these fantastic supplements! Check your Add-Ons available in Kickstarter (or get them later in Backerkit)! 

For obvious reasons, Pathfinder Second Edition has been surging in popularity lately, and plenty of folks have asked if there will be a PF2 version of this book, and the short answer is YES. We probably will wait until the new ORC License is finalized and release the PF2 version under that, and given the popularity of Foundry with PF2 users we will aim to have Foundry VTT support available then. We anticipate doing a second Mechanical Monsters project later this year specifically aimed at PF2 (though of course we'll be delighted to connect 5E, PF1, and SF fans who miss this project with another opportunity to get these amazing books then)!

The recent OGL mess also has reinforced the sense of community among folks in the 3PP space, and we are always happy to share great projects out there. Last time we mentioned The Oracle Character Generator from Nord Games, and if you're a 5E fan you probably don't need me to tell you about Deep Magic 2 from Kobold Press, but as folks who have worked with Wolfgang and the crew since our Mythic Mania Kickstarter team-up (back when the first Deep Magic was a Pathinder RPG book), we'd be remiss if we didn't send them a shout-out too for their great work. 

It's just as important--if not more so--for smaller 3PPs to team up and to share the love, and the guys at Confused Clerics are in the midst of their very first Kickstarter for 5E, with a killer collection of Elodin's Item and Spell Cards! Each deck of 30 unique beautiful, illustrated cards are available in Printed and Digital Format, well balanced to enhance a 5E game with epic items and fantastic spells. This is also truly a community project featuring more than 20 artists and other 5e creators like The Fantastic Emporium, Dungeon Scribe, The Mithral Canvas, and many more...), and they've got a ton of cool stretch goals waiting for you! 

Whether you're jumping on board projects with established companies or finding cool new concepts and content from folks that love the hobby and are just building their brands, we encourage you to check all of them out so that everyone's game can be Legendary!

Hi all,

Our first week has been spectacular and we appreciate each and every one of you for your amazing support, including special tips of the cap to the fantastic Fluffypenguin99 (backer #400) and the esteemed Etienne D. (backer #500)! 

We are also excited to announce that we WILL be able to offer a Roll20 bestiary module for this project, in addition to the VTT tokens (which you can use with any VTT). Given the uncertainty with the OGL, I wasn't sure if we'd be able to do it, but our Roll20 guy came free at the right time and should have no problem getting the module assembled before WotC tries to enact any restrictions on 5E VTT products. Roll20 is available as an add-on, and it includes the VTT token set - you don't have to get it separately if you're getting the Roll20 module.

Last but not least, especially in this time of OGL uncertainty, we are very happy to be a part of a great game company community that shares the good news. This includes other companies sending out announcements about our projects like our friends at DMDave, and us sharing other cool projects that we see out there in the gamer-space. Thanks to all of you for taking us higher and higher, with a special shout-out to Jonathan C. (backer #300)! We are excited to see this level of support and we are listening to our fans too who have asked for a couple of new pledge levels! 

• Retailer and Special Orders: If you own a game store or reseller website, you can make a $1 pledge and send us your store information and we can set up a separate invoice to ship print books your way when they arrive. It's just easier to do those kinds of special orders manually rather than through Kickstarter or Backerkit. This pledge level also applies if you have an unusual request that isn't covered by the existing pledge levels or add-ons. Just shoot us a message and let us know what you'd like to do!

Thanks so much to each and every one of for giving us a great launch day, especially in the midst of some pretty crazy times going on in the gamer-space recently! We appreciate all of you for your generous support and hope you love these books when you receive them, and as we like to do we're throwing a special shout-out to Hugh O. as backer #100 and Josiah S. as backer #200! 

While this project was originally conceived as a 5E book set, we have a lot of Pathfinder fans on Team LG too, and enough of them have asked us about doing a PF1 version of the book that we said yes! We already had some Pathfinder RPG and Starfinder RPG support in the add-ons, but we've now added base pledges for Mechanical Monsters (Pathfinder), available in PDF or print. A few notes:

• We're working on the PF1 version now, but it may not be completed by the end of the KS; we'll see how it goes. We'll have as many PDFs to you immediately at the end of the campaign as possible, but this one might come a bit later. 
• If you want to get multiple versions of a book, just pick the standard 5E version as your base pledge and add the PF1 version in the Add-Ons menu. 
• There is no Pathfinder Second Edition version available; that would be too much to add right now. That said, when the ORC License is finalized later this year, I can definitely see us doing a PF2 version of the book at that time.
